Their latest CD 'The Band That Plays At Night', features 13 tracks, comprising 2 original songs, 18 original instrumentals and a few traditional gems, ranging from lightning Celtic-style Reels, to dark atmospheric Klezmer tunes, wild Breton and East European-style dance tunes, joyful Jigs and dreamy Waltzes and Lullabies.
From a rich base of Celtic music, they now embrace a broader spectrum of musical styles which are honed into fresh and innovative original music. Firmly established as a live band, playing at venues throughout Brisbane and SE Queensland, Malarky will be launching their CD at the Millennial Woodford Folk Festival on the Sunshine Coast, North of Brisbane.
